Since its inception, Uniquely Galapagos has been driven by a clear purpose: to deliver meaningful, sustainable, and deeply personal travel experiences in one of the world’s most extraordinary destinations. Over the past few years, that commitment has not only resonated with travellers—it has also earned recognition from some of the United Kingdom’s most respected media outlets and at global travel shows.
Our journey into the international spotlight began in March 2021, when The Times Travel Supplement included us in “The Wonders of the Galapagos – seen in cruise-free comfort.” This early recognition highlighted our distinctive approach to land-based, low-impact exploration—offering an alternative to traditional cruise tourism while maintaining exceptional wildlife encounters and comfort.
Building on this momentum, Uniquely Galapagos has been consistently featured on The Times Travel website since February 2022. Three of our signature experiences—our 8-day Galapagos Eco Island Hopping, 4 day Galapagos Island Express Hopping, and 7-day Galapagos Eco Community Explorer—have been included in their curated list of the 19 best Galapagos tours. This ongoing presence reflects both the quality of our itineraries and the growing demand for responsible, experience-led travel.
In January 2025, we were honoured to be included in the Financial Times’ prestigious “50 Holidays to Take in 2025”, a carefully selected collection of standout global travel experiences. This recognition further affirmed our position as a leading provider of sustainable, high-quality travel in the Galapagos Islands.
Most recently, Uniquely Galapagos has been featured in the May 2026 edition of National Geographic Traveller (UK)—one of the world’s most respected voices in travel. This milestone represents a powerful endorsement of our ethos: connecting travellers with nature, community, and conservation in a truly meaningful way.
Beyond media recognition, we have also actively engaged with the global travel industry through key international events. In January 2023, we exhibited at Destinations: The Holiday & Travel Show in Manchester, connecting directly with travellers seeking authentic and responsible experiences. More recently, we participated in World Travel Market (WTM) London in both November 2024 and November 2025. Our 2025 presence was particularly significant, as we proudly supported the Ministry of Tourism of Ecuador—showcasing the Galapagos as a world-leading destination for sustainable tourism.
These milestones reflect more than just visibility—they represent a growing global recognition of what Uniquely Galapagos stands for: thoughtful travel, genuine connection, and a commitment to protecting the natural and cultural heritage of the islands.
As we look ahead, we remain dedicated to innovation in eco-tourism, strengthening community partnerships, and continuing to position the Galapagos Islands as a benchmark for regenerative travel.
Discover the difference. Travel uniquely.
